TESTIMONIALS

Lee Peacock

I've hunted ducks for the past twenty years and I started with an Olt world logo D-2 duck call. Since then I've hunted with contest callers who've used $200 calls on a regular basis to scare the ducks away. When I get them to quiet down, I can blow my DJ Millinium Magnum and shoot ducks. I own about two hundred calls and I wouldn't use any other call in the blind. I'll never use another call again.

Hey Dave and Tom,

I just wanted to say thanks for letting me to stick around and test drive some of your new calls the other day. I really enjoyed that. I think that will be a memory I can tell my grand kids about someday. I'm sure that with your positive attitudes and calls that ROCK the valley, there will be nothing but a bright future for your new business. I am impressed with level of friendship that has developed and persisted over the years (good and bad) between you and Tom. I think that kind of mutual respect and friendship will be key to maintaining many years of productive partnership with all involved in this new venture. I'm certain things will go well for you guys and I will keep you in my prayers. If you ever need anything, whatever it is, let me know. Looking forward to seeing the next (and better) generation of world renown-ness coming from my hometown.

See ya in the headlines.

I have known Dave for many years. I called in and harvested my first goose using one of Dave’s goose calls. I have taken many geese since then using that same call. It has never failed me and to this day still holds its tone after about 6 years. I have an Olt duck call that Dave produced and have enjoyed that particular call for about 15 years now. Good luck Dave and I look forward to using my inaugural set soon.

Another Happy Customer

Folks, I want to let you know that I have personally watch and listened to
David Jackson and Tommy hand-tune calls for many years at the Olt Factory.
Believe me, they are THE REAL DEAL when it comes to Duck/Goose Calls.
I'm very pleased that they are now going to carry on the same tradition
with DJ Calls.

This is my 56th Season Duck Hunting and you can bet that I'm going to
order my DJ Calls very soon. Thanks for continuing the tradition, David.

When I ordered my first SBR-11, I figured it would gather dust in the box
with all my other, much more expensive snow goose calls. WRONG!! The SBR-11
was responsible for bringing many snows, blues and Ross to my client’s guns.
You know a call is effective when you have 2 e-callers going thru 7
speakers, and geese are landing within 10 feet of my blind when blowing the
SBR-11. More than once I had to move my layout blind up into the firing
line with my clients so they could shoot the geese that were keying in on my
calling over the e-boxes. It is by far the easiest blowing and most
effective snow call I have ever used and Dave is a pleasure to do business
with. Thanks,

Doug Wynn

About 6 yrs.  ago the legendary Omar Driskell took me under his wing, and taught me how to blow an Old style D2 keyhole Olt.  It was the “el Naturale” of calls.  After his trip to your facility and upon returning with an Omar Driskell signature series call, I was like a kid in a candy shop.  The quality and accuracy of sound is unreal.

Thanks, and keep up the good work
Jason

Happy Customer

I have blown the Olt Keyhole D-2 since the 1960's. I have a vast collection of them. I recently purchased a Grafton GDC-08 call and I am truly appreciative that some has carried on the tradition of making a piece of duck hunting history.

Your call is terrific and cannot be distinguished from the original.

Thanks a MILLION!!

Saw your post on Ohio Waterfowler and checked out your site. Very nice site and I want to commend you on picking up the Sonderman 66 model. I almost cried when I heard that P.S. Olt was going out of business back in 2000. It’s a dam shame guys will pay 150.00 or more for one of those fancy acrylics but wouldn't blow an Olt call. I have a brand new 66 sitting on my display shelf but I think I will order a new one from you for field use. Nothing on earth sounds like an Al Sonderman 66.  Keep up the good work.

I have finally laid my hands on the R - 25 caller. I live in New Zealand and have shot stags coming in spoiling for a fight after making this sound in the Kaimanawa and Kaweka Rangers central North Island N.Z. I used to own an Olt but I lost it and couldn't find a replacement for some time. I am lucky to have Fallow, Wapiti ( Elk ), Red and Sika on my doorstep and like to hunt quite a bit.

Once again well-done guys

I have been fortunate enough to get one of Dave Jackson’s new swan call, (swan quarter call). It is a prototype that is not out for sale just yet, but from what i understand will be shortly. I am a guide for gurganus guide service. We strive to satisfy our hunters. Saying that, anything that gives us an advantage (legally) we are going to use.  Now we all know that in every day hunting you do not get 100% success, if we did it would be called killing not hunting. From my experience Dave’s swan quarter call really works. I have had hunters say; well can't you call them by mouth, yes, but not always.  This new call can make every sound that a swan makes perfectly. Also at the end of a long day my throat does not hurt from trying to mouth call a swan. I feel that I’m pretty good at mouth calling a swan but I can't compete with DJS new swan call.

Today is Jan. 30, tomorrow will be our last day of swan hunting season. This morning tom, his buddy Jason, and I decided to put the call to a test. Jason and I had tags to fill. We all 3 met early this morning before daybreak and started putting out swan decoys. This area has been hunted hard this year. I have seen as many as 5 hunting parties in this area per day, which is not a real big area. People may say that swan are dumb and decoy very easy, well this may be true in the early season, but not so after they have been shot at for better than 2 months. Anyway, we turned swan to us as far as approx. 3/4 to 1 mile away. We all 3 can say that our throats don't hurt from mouth calling and after the morning was over Jason and I have both filled our swan tags.

DJ, thanks for creating your new swan call and I’ll be glad to be the first to buy the new-finished product when it hits the market. I would recommend this call to everyone.

Thanks a million,
Brett

What a wonderful call Dave makes. You know I bought a OLT 66 duck call & a 77
goose call back in 1971 and I have killed more ducks and geese with these calls than you can shake a stick at. I just bought a Blue lakes call from you and I mean to tell you that bad boy puts them right down in front, what a call. I've used other calls sometimes but other than the OLT this DJ call is something else. I plan on buying a lot more before next hunting season. Thanks, and keep up the great call making.
